Letter from a friend - Letter 8
How fast the year goes by, right? Do you celebrate Christmas at your home too? Here, we've already decorated and are getting ready to celebrate this special day together as a family.

Hello, my dear Friend,
In my last letter, I wrote to you about the preciousness of time. Remember? Time slipped away, and I couldn't find a moment to write sooner. The truth is that time was really short for me this month. My husband had to work many extra hours, and because of that, I had to extend my duties at home with the children and the household.
How fast the year goes by, right? Do you celebrate Christmas at your home too? Here, we've already decorated and are getting ready to celebrate this special day together as a family.
As we approach the year's end, many people reflect on the goals, dreams, and objectives they set out to achieve. On that note, I want to share a reflection about dreams and the ones that got away. I picked up an interesting term from my teacher - "Domino Syndrome." It's about people who see their lives as a series of falling dominoes, as if they had no say in the matter. In other words, they believe they are a domino piece that fell because another piece knocked it down. And when this happens, what is needed is a bit of initiative. Dreams remain just that without taking the first step. Initiatives bring plans and projects to life. It's like being the director of your own story, not just a piece in someone else's game.
Remember, God Himself took the initiative to become a vulnerable child, trusting His creation. This act of love brought us the remission of our sins and an invitation to a life of purpose. This was to surprise us and give us a great gift: the remission of our sins and an opening to sanctification.
It's essential to trust and believe! Have you managed to tick off any dreams from your list this year? Believing in yourself is the key to turning dreams into reality. If you've been playing it safe, remember, fortune favours the bold!
Reflect with me:
-When was the last time you took a bold step or initiative?
-What memories does that moment bring?
-Was it your idea, or did someone inspire you?
-Did your action bring positive outcomes or add value?
If you can't remember the last time you took a bold initiative, don’t worry. I've got a little challenge for you before the year wraps up. This challenge will be to surprise someone this Christmas. Pick someone close, plan it well, and focus on making it a joyful experience for them. Share the love and bring a smile to someone's face!
Then tell me how it went, here and on Instagram! I'd love to know about it. Have a beautiful week. And see you next week. At Christmas!
