Letter from a friend - Letter 10
If doubt invades our inner selves, leaving us in a labyrinth of hesitations, let's remember how many times we've seen plants and flowers sprout from the cracks in rocks, from the gaps in the asphalt, or amid the pebbles.

Hello, my dear Friend,
Yesterday evening, on Sunday, the day I usually write my letter to you, I settled at my desk, opened my laptop, and began typing. I started writing about order and the importance of it in our lives, not only in the literal, spatial sense but also in the temporal aspect. I love this topic. Yet, as I was organizing my thoughts there, I felt in my heart to share with you something else instead, something that has been happening in our family in recent weeks and the uplifting aspects we've derived going through this phase.
My husband is currently unemployed and going through a career transition. It's a challenging situation that requires a lot of effort, faith, and courage. In the midst of this, moments are difficult and challenging, as for any family relying on a single income.
If you are going through a challenging situation in life, what I want to tell you is that every day is a new beginning, a new opportunity to get out of bed and fight for our goals, for our family. Strongly, patiently, and confidently.
If doubt invades our inner selves, leaving us in a labyrinth of hesitations, let's remember how many times we've seen plants and flowers sprout from the cracks in rocks, from the gaps in the asphalt, or amid the pebbles.
They are there because they know that Divine Providence has positioned them in the right place to fulfil their mission. In all of nature, the prevailing truth is that chance does not exist; everything has its purpose.
So, despite all the difficulties we encounter, let's continue to stand firm, with our roots firmly planted in the fertile soil of our faith. A faith that is not just a surface-level belief but one that shields our entire physical and mental structure safeguarding us from the negative influences of discouragement and hopelessness.
Let's keep fighting, trusting in God's purposes, and thanking God for the angels on earth, called friends, that He sends into our lives!
If God gives life, support, and beauty to plants in seemingly unsuitable locations, why wouldn't He also support us during our challenging times? May we have an attentive eye to perceive the beauty that surrounds our difficulties.
With love and care
Libia Matheus
