Hello, Dear Friend,
I've been longing to write to you, my dear friend. Last week, time slipped through my fingers, but I've made it here today. There’re so many exciting things coming down the pipeline, especially concerning temperaments and virtues. I'm thrilled with how things are progressing, and I promise you'll be the first to know about any updates. Through our exploration of temperaments, we’ll be discovering practical techniques to guide our children in the best possible way.
Today, I wanted to write about facing difficulties and adversity. The past week was quite a challenge for my family. With changes in my husband's job, a new schedule, and a fresh way of life, it felt like we were navigating uncharted waters. I wanted to share some practical tips for handling such moments, and these are the ones that have helped us the most:
Don't Underestimate Basic Habits: I can't stress enough how crucial it is to pay attention to your basic routines. Make sure you're getting enough rest, staying active, and nourishing your body with proper food.Take One Step at a Time: When life throws you a curveball, and it feels like everything needs to change at once, it's easy to get overwhelmed. What I've learned is that it's best to tackle one thing at a time. Prioritize tasks, focus on what's most pressing, and give yourself the grace to proceed at your own pace.Trust in Divine Providence: While my faith may not be identical to yours, I find great comfort in believing that there's a God up there, overseeing our journey.
Trusting in this higher purpose has provided me with a sense of security, even when the future seems uncertain.Focus on What You Can Control: Life often presents situations that are beyond our control. Instead of dwelling on what I can't change, I've found peace by focusing my energy on what I can influence. It's a liberating perspective.Keep a Sense of Humor: Amid life's challenges, laughter is a beacon of light. Finding moments of humor, even in the most trying times, It’s a source of strenght. A good laugh can be a powerful tool for resilience.
I hope these insights, drawn from my own experiences, offer you guidance and support as you navigate your path. We're in this together, my dear friend, and I'm here for you whenever you need a listening ear or a word of encouragement.
With warm regards,
Libia Matheus
